No light or diet or sugar free products, avoid fat free or products that say ‘less fat’.
No sugar, flour, pasta, rice, juice, crisp bread, cereals, cous cous, popcorn, noodles or grain foods
Careful with fruit, every now and then a pear or apple. Never more than one/day. IF you choose to eat a fruit then do so together with protein, in combination with a meal or with some ham or cheese or nuts. But preferably avoid fruit, at least for the first 6 weeks.
Always read the contents of ingredients on all products. If the carbs are more than 5g/100g then don’t eat them!
Don’t re-take at meal time. Eat one proper plate of food and let your brain register that it’s getting full. The process takes about 30 min.
Eggs are great in all ways! It fills you up and you can vary how you eat your eggs in many ways. You can always have a boiled egg with you in you bag if a feeling of hunger should come about. Organic eggs are the best, they contain all the important substances that your body needs, bar vitamin-C. Otherwise everything else you will find in organic eggs. AND you can eat as many eggs as you like per day.
Drink water but don’t overdo it.
Remember to eat fat!!! This is very important. Add at least 30-50g fat to each meal!
It’s all about natural fats. Organic Coconut oil is the absolute best, cream, butter, fish, meat, avocado, nuts…
Vegetables that grow above the ground. Avoid carrots, parsnips and other veggies that grow beneath the ground. They contain many more carbs. Don’t overeat vegetables, a small amount on your plate is enough.
Watch out for alcohol, red wine and dry white are your best choices when it comes to wine. Pure alcohol is also ok, whiskey, vodka, campari, congac… Avoid beer and cocktails that are mixed with cool-drinks or juice.
Find some kind of activity that gets you moving a bit. Do your favorite activity on a regular basis.
