Way out of optimal ketosis
Posted under: Well after my 4 week trip to South Africa I am way out of optimal ketosis. I stopped measuring myself whilst over there – just does not work with all that restaurant food!
Now I am back to measuring again… Only 0.5 this am, need to be between 1,5 – 3 mmol/l! Will be interesting to see how long it will take for me to get back there, even though I do eat so strict anyway…
And for those of you in CT who want a ketosis meter (FreeStyle Precision) I did hear that there is a pharmacy in Bellville that sells them! Otherwise not very easy to get hold of over there!!! If you do find one please let me know about it! Thanx!
What is Ketosis, and does this assist with managing weight loss. I am new to this LCHF, and just finding my way around. Please excuse me if I sound ignorant, but I would rather be ignorant for a day, than for the rest of my life.
M-KEM did not have the Freestyle Precision in stock.
Only realise now that my model may be different… measures both BG and BK.

I had to return the first meter I bought; the seal was broken on the box.
They only had two in stock and I bought one of them!
I warned the supervisor who assisted me with the return that there may be more peeps wanting to buy!
