Carb day in Norway!

Today is the national day of our neighbour country, Norway, 17 May!

This is one of the most celebrated days in Norway, a day of celebration with friends and family.

Lots of foods, ice cream, sodas, cakes etc…

On the streets people flock to see the ’17 May train’ where families and friends walk together celebrating, waving flags and playing fun ‘instruments’ which mainly just make a noise 😉

A bit of a hectic day for me… From New York to Stockholm, then home to Karlstad and re-pack bag and off to Oslo to celebrate 17 May.

This day in Norway is known for the foods and ‘eats’ – everyone eats exactly what their herats desire – all day. No limits! Although for me, I will be as strict as always. But cream and strawberries will do me fine!
