My 7 year old went with me to my crossfit class today! She is so good, plays in the rings or sits and draws while I train.
Today she drew me. Gave me the picture and said: "Mommy you are so strong"... I melted!
You just have to love the picture she drew... My sweetheart...
When I was recently in New York, I just happened (in fact) to walk past Asics shoe store. I only use Asics as they are most spacious inside. Hate tight shoes, Reeboks are a no no for my feet!
Found a nice pair, with lots of bounce and under-foot support. Would love to do 'barfoot' training, or with five fingers, but as the indoor floors are un-natural and very hard, I opt for shoes indoors.
I went for the pink and black parin, top right... Very nice!
Tonight it was really HOT! Both in the air and in the dancing! Had a great class, lots of energy and fun! Especially with the new songs from the Caribbean cruise...
The other day we rented bicycles. We rented for the whole day, usually they only rent out per hour, but the lady figuered out a price for us to rent them for. So we rode around from 10 am til 9pm!
I will admit, it was extremely hot cycling around, but we soaked up loads of vitamin-D, felt the scent from the ocean and really enjoyed ourselves!
I had a great workout at the gym! 3 exercises for legs, 2 for triceps and 2 for biceps, 2 stomach, 1 chest and 1 back! Full focus, got it done nice and quick, in slow burn style!
Then at home I ate one meaty sausage and 2 eggs with 2 Tbsp majo and 1 Tbsp dijon mustard mixed together! Very nice, filling and a good protein boost!
Lots of energy, lots of people, loads of sweat and many smiles! The class was really amazing - so much energy all around! :)
This afternoon I thought I would do a Zumba class, but I shall stand on the 'other' side! I am not instructing!
At 11am I had an egg brunch so now I have just eaten an avo with mayonnaise. I have to eat 2-3 hours prior to a class though, my stomach just can't deal with food directly before jumping around!

We did slow burn, and boy did it burn!!! Arms and legs are like jello, wobbly, shaky and just 'hanging around' ;)...
We worked out:
Tummy x 2 exercises
legs x 4
biceps x 1
triceps x 2
chest x 1.
Good going! :) And it does buuuurn!
My gym has built a new gym in another area of town. I did my workout there. Wow it was really awesome!
Thing of importance that I look for in a gym:
- Welcoming atmosphere
- Parking facilities
- Good machines and good weight lifting area
- Neat, clean, spacious and inviting
- Childcare
- Access to water to fill my bottle, (not in the toilets!)
- Not too many people so that I have to wait around before it's my turn
- Clean changing rooms with lockers
SATS Färjestad met all my 'demands'! Will be back! Loved it there, my kind of gym!
A great workout at the gym. Heavy and effective. Geez, I could hardly lift my arms to write on my computer after that workout!

Did not eat anything extra prior, but did eat a chicken curry after. Tasted good and was full of butter and cream, filling!

Yesterday I did my 'slow burn' workout! It feels very short! Takes 20 min and my whole body is worked out! But oh boy, can I feel it today? Geeez! *PAIN* :)
None of the exercises exceeded the 90 sec limit! Getting good here.
It really works. I got a friend to come too, she is also in pain! Glad to be going for a massage in a few hours... :)
When I got home I had a mug of egg milk! A wonderful protein and fat drink. Great after or before workout, or as a quick breakfast or afternoon, evening snack.
50 g butter
2 eggs
200 ml boiling water
Blend the butter and eggs together with electric blender, add boiling water. Enjoy. You can also flavor it with vanilla, coffee powder, cinnamon, cardamom...
I had Zumba in the city park! I was so nervous that it would be me, and only me! But there was loads of people and we had such a great time! The atmosphere was awesome, the summer sun was hot and the sweat was dripping! Just like it should be! :)
I had a great Zumba class, for 1,5 hours! The energi was awesome, the people really gave it all and we had a blast!
When I came home my teenagers had made sausage (95% meat) and mashed creamed broccoli. *Happy mommy*! Note the extra butter on the broccoli, THAT's what makes me full and gives energy! ;)
I had a PT booking with Fred Hahn (from NY) and did a slow burn workout. WOW!!! It was so slow and it hurt! A really tough workout. I worked hard and heavy and I felt it! This is def. a way of working out that suits me!
Going home and starting to train 'slow burn'! :)
I have been thinking about it for a while, a long while. And what better place to buy these than in America! Besides the prices are like 1/8 of the Swedish prices!

Sunday I had actually three Zumba classes. It went very well! First a Zumba Fitness and then directly onto Zumba Toning! Home, shower and change. Next!
Zumba fitness to end off the evening! A perfect and very sweaty ending to this lovely weekend!
A lovely day! Started with scrambled eggs with homemade majonnaise! Then Zumba training for a few hours, practicin steps! And at last time to go out and test my new skiis! That was stunning! The snow is calm, cold and so pretty! :)
Last night I was hired to give a Zumba class at a 60th birthday party! We started at around 10pm and danced for 45 minutes! It was great fun and everyoned joined in the party!
My ideal pre-workout snack, if I need one! Today I do as I will be at the gym for 3 hours... So a bowl of plain nuts is in it's place! Sitting outside enjoying the views...
