Sugar damages teeth, sugar is food for bakterie, fungus and cancercells. Sugar increases the production of adrenalin up to 4 times, this causes intense stress for the body, sugar stimulates to faster ageing and uses the body’s calcium, chrome and other minerals.
We eat 54kg of sugar / year / person – if all that sugar was substituted for honey, maple syrup, brown sugar, rice sugar, starchsirup or other sweetners the affect would still be the same!
