Starting over & getting back on track..

  • Make sure you are eating enough fats.  It’s not enough with just the fat you use during cookg, you have to add extra fat on your plate for instance: sauce, cream based gravy, mayonnaise, butter or garlic butter…
  • Eat a proper and filling breakfast, preferablty organic eggs with good fats
  • Only snack if you are hungry, otherwise skip snacking.
  • Green tea is great.
  • Be a bit careful with dairy producs – there are a lot of hidden carbs there!!!  Use full fat cream, proper butter, coconut oil and mayonaisse.
  • Take control of your life and decide what you want to put into your body.
  • Try to find a form of excercise / daily movement that suits you.  When you work out your stress hormon kortizol decreases.
  • Avoid attacking the fridge to find something to pick on.  If you feel the urge to eat something try to do something else – the urge disappears! Try to recognize which situations affect you negatively and then ‘make’ you eat: Alone; sad; hungry; angry; social functions; that time of the month… The correct foods give you even blood sugars and then get rid of the sweet cravings.
  • Be strong and stand up for yourself.  Question and ask about foods, what’s in them, where they are from… Don’t fall for temptations when others say they have ‘baked just for you’!
  • Be strong and questions foods that are being served at restaurants, dinner parties och other events.
  • Eat omega-3, very important for your health.  Make sure the wholde family are taking omega-3.
  • Don’t heat up oliv oil or any other oil fo rmaking foods.  Use only coconut oil or pure butter.
  • Smile, be happy and proud as you are giving you body the best opportunity to liva a healthy and long life. You have the control – keep it!
