Cream and LCHF… According to the paleo diet (stoneage way of eating) then you don’t eat dairy (cream and cheese etc). But for me that is just a bit too boring. I love both my cream and my cheeses.
But one thing to bare in mind is that cream is 40% fat, which is good compared to youghurt but only half the amount of fat compared to butter (80% fat) and comparing to coconut oil which is 100% fat! The higher the % fat, the more filling it is, you eat less and therefor consume even fewer carbs!
So ideally butter is great to have with your food, and of course you can spice up your butter with herbs or garlic, or with other items like avocado, chili, chives, sundried tomatoes, etc… Yum!
