All kinds of cabbage are really good for you… One of my favourites is Brussels sprouts!

In Brussels sprouts there is: calcium, iron, vitamin c, vitamin k, carbonic acid and beta-carotene. All good as antioxidants…

Nutritional value of Brussels sprouts per 100 g:

Protein 1,4 g
Fat 0,5 g
Carbohydrates 2,0 g

One of my favourites is to boil the B.sprouts for a few mintes, then melt butter (at least 50g) in a frying pan. Chop up a red onion and fry in the butter and then add the B.sprouts. Salt and white pepper.
Very nice!!!

  • Just bought a gorgeous dark red onion at a local farm stand. Looking forward to putting it to good use. 🙂
