Swedish traditional Christmas ham

Every home (just about) has Christmas ham… Usually made a few days ahead of Christmas (and sometimes a new one is made for Christmas as this one usually gets eaten up). You buy a whole ham and make a covering that you then have on the ham, grill it in the oven and then enjoy it with mustard.

I have made a cover with saffron, eggs, mustard and orange zest…

A lovely light lunch, or for breakfast, a few thick slices and lots of mustard! Sooo nice…
