Does LCHF work when 'others' are making the food?
My trip home was beginning. I had nothing prepared to eat. I had to improvise to make my trip as LCHF friendly as possible!
It started at the airport. I was not very hungry but thought that I better eat something that I can decide over and that will keep me full for many hours.
I found a restaurant that had real burgers! Perfect! Removed the strips and the bun, added cheese, butter and mayonnaise. *Happy and full*!
As I suspected the food on the flight was LCHF catastrophe! Rice, lots of rice and a few small chicken pieces. Butter, yes! And I had with me a little extra butter from the restaurant. The salad had a dressing with glutamate (E621/GMO)... And afterwards chocolate pudding - no thank you!
I had the chicken and butter! Worked fine.
For breakfast (which for my body and the time difference was middle of the night) they served some awful excuse for eggs and potatoes! No thanx!
At Frankfurt airport I bought 2 meaty sausages. And on the flight to Stockholm they served a sweet cake/bun! *Cringe*!
On the train from Stockholm to Karlstad I had ordered freshly peeled shrimp sandwich! Ate the shrimps and the egg and left the bread! Very nice!
So, with some planning and good will - it worked out well! :)
