FATS: Butter, coconut oil, youghurt?

What should you eat to increase your fat intake? Always read labels to see HOW MUCH fat a product contains!  Butter is 80% fat whereas youghurt can be 1% - 10%.  Creme fraiche is around 36% and cheese is between 26% and 31%...

The higher the fat content the more filling it is.  This means you stay full longer and eat less later.  It also helps to remove cravings and nibbling inbetween meals.

Increase your fat consumption with fats that are HIGH in fat! You then don't need as much to get full.  Creme fraiche and youghurt for instance also contains more carbs - so in order to feel full and satisfied you need to eat a larger amount! This then increases the amount of carbs you eat.

Try to stick to pure fat sources.  Use creme fraiche and youghurt as extras every now and then.

Mayonnaise is high in fat, also 80% which is good.  But bare in mind it is filled with vegetable oils which are high in omega6 and therefore inflammatory. But otherwise it is a good source of fat and nice as a variation.
